Datalogger

The aim of the datalogger is to record data coming from different sensors such as camera, LIDAR devices, CAN buses, etc. Sensors can be triggered by the Datalogger itself to get a synchronized sensor suite.Data will be recorded with a timestamp so that further synchronized playback can be possible. The processing unit is composed by a compact PC and has reduced dimensions, and can be powered with 12V.

Data can be downloaded through an FTP server installed on the Datalogger.

Datalogger has an easy configuration system and a low-cost hardware system.

Possible Application

• Black Box for vehicular applications
  
• Triggered image recorder
  
• Recording-in-the-past (when triggered, the system can dump on disk the data of the last 5 minutes)

Examples

The system has been succesfully fielded in collaboration with SDAM to record the pictures of the athletes during sport competitions.
