TerraMax 2004
The TerraMax vehicle in its 2004 version was equipped by many sensors, but unfortunately the VisLab vision system was not used during the 2004 DARPA Grand Challenge. TerraMax was able to run only 1.2 miles out of the 130+ miles of the race. The best vehicle run for 6 miles only. The first edition of the Grand Challenge was a disaster, but luckily DARPA announced a new race for 2005, which was concluded by the next version of TerraMax.
