PEGASE
EU sixth framework programme project PEGASE (standign for helicoPter and aEronef naviGation Airborne System Experimentations) is a feasibility study of a new Navigation System which allows a three dimensional truly autonomous approach and guidance for airports and helipads and improves the integrity and accuracy of GNSS differential navigation systems.

VisLab contributes to the project as third party in collaboration with CNIT (Consorzio Nazionale Interuniversitario per le Telecomunicazion) in different work packages.

VisLab main works are the development of runway/helipad localization and the development of obstacles detection.
